Comfort Solutions is seeking to hire a HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. Comfort Solutions is a local family-owned business based out of Lebanon, OH since 1979. Gary Martin began his career with Comfort Solutions in 1981 and became a key part of the business. - Responsible for diagnosing and repair issue with residential HVAC equipment
- Maintaining communication with the customer such as job updates and collecting payments
- Providing exceptional customer service and selling systems and accessories/add-ons
- Engineering installation, service, maintenance, and duct cleaning jobs and providing appropriate information to management, co-workers, and customers as appropriate
- Assisting with other jobs as needed including but not limited to installations, maintenances, duct cleanings, warehouse/inventory, installing humidifiers, installing thermostats, selling/referring other products such as maintenance plans and system installations, performing basic IAQ/duct cleaning sells calls to new and existing customers
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Minimum 1-2 years of residential HVAC experience required and/or relevant training/education
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must have problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 150lbs with assistance
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour
